A Typical Day for the Couch Kids
Well, I thought that you guys would like to see the kind of stuff we do all day. So, I thought that I would show you!
We have all sorts of fun playing, painting, dressing up, cooking, reading books, watching movies, and getting messy with shaving cream!!
Every day during the school year we go to Grace Camp where I am the Director of the after school care prcgram at Grace Academy. So we are there from 3pm to 6pm. I took some pictures of the kids there so that you could see some of them as well!
ENJOY!

THANK YOU, LORD! I finally got a new camera yesterday!! I was able to get pictures from our New York trip in February, AND now we can take picures again!! For those of you who know about cameras, I got my first Nikon!! I have wanted one since I studied photography in college. (I also want the Digital Canon Rebel, but I'll save that for later. I have the 35mm Canon Rebel, but it's outdated by 7 years).
Right now, I am sitting at our kitchen table. The windows are all open. The birds are singing. And, my kids and the Patterson kids are all outside playing. They are having a great time! They have painted, taken out every single toy Evan and Emily own, and dressed up as Spider-Man, Super Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Buzz Lightyear, pirates, and cowboys.
What fun it is to have children and friends!!

I am Blessed!
This past week Eric was out of town, and didn't get to be in town for my b-day. He was with the rest of my family (minus my mom), so I got together with my girlfriends for a fun celebration!! We went to Maggiano's and had a YUMMY dinner! Afterwards, we went to Cafe Brazil and had coffee and chatted some more!
I took the opportunity, since so many of my friends were able to come, to let each one of them know what I loved about them, and how I treasured them each individually! I am so blessed to have such an amazing circle of friends! God has used each one in a specific way in my life. From just being there to smile, to praying me through difficult times, they all have been used by God! I am so fortunate that the Lord put us all together!
I have been praying over myself as well as my dear friends, that we would crave to KNOW God. To desire to read His Word. And to walk in His will.
One of my favorite songs from childhood goes like this:
The Lord has a will
And I have a need
To follow hat will
And humbly be still
To rest in it
Nest in it
Fully be blest in it
Following my Father's will!
